THE NUMBER SEVEN
7

16   25   34   43   52   61   70   79   88   97

Numbers rule the universe.
Everything is arranged according to number and mathematical shape.
        Pythagoras - Greek Philosopher & Mathematician- 580 B.C to 520 B. C.

Seven wends within. No vibration is more inwardly directed than the Seven. While 'one' may be the most solo number in a worldly sense, Seven is the most removed from the world. Seven is deep, introspective, intuitive, private, reclusive, secret, separate, distant, and indifferent to the outer world of phenomena but not to the inner worlds of secrecy, intrigue, hidden mysteries, and His Reality. Pythagoras, the father of mathematics and numerology, considered Seven as the most spiritual of all numbers. Shaped like a shepherd's crook, the number 7 symbolically represents the flow of the kundalini from the bottom of the spine to the third eye in the center of the forehead between the eyes. The third eye is known in mystical circles as Tisra Til or the Tenth Gate. It is the secret doorway leading to the inner worlds.

Seven is highly analytical, inquisitive, perfection-seeking, often critical. It asks why and travels within to find out. Those who desire to know the inner secrets of life, the cosmos and the universe have seven highly active in their vibrational matrix. The Seven vibration in its spiritual frequency is sensitive, refined, reserved, stately, quiet, humble, calm, tranquil, serene, pure, and chaste. The way to spiritual insight is through the Seven for it is patient, mystical, wise and, ultimately, self-realized. Seven turns away from the outer world of phenomena and commercialism and, through meditation and prayer, directs itself to the inner regions of mystical light to find Him--often painfully but never regretfully.

When Seven appears in a person's chart it represents spiritual, moral, and ethical testing. In order for a soul to advance to a higher level that soul must be tested, just like going from grade level to grade level in school. Tests can be difficult with the Seven and oftentimes its energy brings tears, sorrows, heartache, loneliness, tragedy, tribulations, anxiety, stress. It is these conditions which make the individual think and reflect on his life, hopefully redirecting his attention inwardly to where God can be found. No one finds God or higher truth when satiated with the pleasures of this world. Therefore, it can be easily argued that even though a person's life may seem as though God has abandoned him and heaped endless miseries on him that individual may be receiving the fullest gift of God's Grace.

On the cover of The Kings Book of Numerology, Volume 1, Foundations & Fundamentals, the number Seven is given the honor of being placed above all the other numbers. Seven is exalted. Of this there is no doubt. Look how many times and in what conditions the number Seven is referenced in the Bible. It is truly a holy and mystical number.

As we know, numbers, like coins, have two sides, and the number Seven is no different. As a spiritual vibration, it is manifested in the spiritual world, as one example, in the name of S. Harbans Singh Grewal, a master of the Twentieth Century, whose General Expression is an 88/16/7. However, it is also manifested in the chart of Joseph Stalin in his Soul energy, also as an 88/16/7. See the irony? What is spiritual also has an equally evil counterpart. That's the reality of this dimension. There is no escaping it, which is why S. Harbans Singh Grewal himself stated: "Just live in the creation and get out of it."

For those with the Seven in their charts, please do not fear or be anxious. It is there as a blessing, not a curse. It is calling you to withdraw to the center of your being and find the Truth of life. If the Seven's purpose is ignored and one fights its inwardly-directed pull, then will there be difficulty. Seven does rule chaos, but it also rules peace. The choice of the Seven's experience, therefore, lies in one's ability to accept, adjust, and find the divine in all things, even so-called worldly tragedy. Learn to love the Seven because, although its lessons can be hard, its heat and pressure forge mere chunks of coal into precious, coruscating diamonds!

The spiritual lesson of the Seven: perfect peace lies within, in accepting and adjusting to His Will. The way out is in. It is just as easy to go down as up. Life can be made ignoble as well as noble. The opposite side of great peace is great chaos. Personal choice determines direction. Be reflective. Be intuitive. Be introspective. Be centered. Be still. Be quiet. Seek God.
