A Red Flag Warning

in which we must all learn to be brave. ~ Richard Andrew King (The Age of the Female – A Thousand Years of Yin) 2016. It will be a year in which to sit up and take a cautionary note. Not a panic note, but nonetheless a warning, bearing in mind that all warnings intrinsically encompass a caveat of awareness, balance, perspective and preparation. In the King's Numerology system, the number 16 is labeled as the Great Purifier. The number 16 identifies an energy of extreme spiritual, ethical, moral, emotional, intellectual and personal testing. This Great Purifier, which can also be ciphered as "16-7," puts us through the fire – not to destroy but to cleanse. It is not a comfortable vibration but it is a critically important one and one which must never be ignored. The number 16-7 is not to be feared. It is to be understood, even embraced, but never neglected or rejected. No energy contains the potential of spiritual purification and attainment more than the 16-7. But in consideration of the dual nature of this creation – possessing both a positive and negative polarity – no number houses a more traumatic potential for negativity and darkness than the 16-7. In other words, its potency is as brilliantly enlightening as its darkness is foreboding. How we choose to manage the 16-7's energies is critical. Ignore them and be assailed. Obey them and be edified. It's a personal choice. Universal/Calendar Year - 9 The year 2016 reduces to a 9 in simple terms (2 + 0 + 1 + 6 = 9). The #9 is the energy of universality. 9 rules everybody and everything. It also governs expansions, endings, conclusions, resolutions, the public stage, art, and the "all." Since any calendar year is universal in scope, in 2016 the entire globe will be immersed not only in the 9 itself and its attributes, but also in the 16 and its characteristics. Not to be ignored is the 2 (the root of the 20 in 2016) which references yin energy, others and relationships – both positive and negative, whose attributes include but are not limited to partnership, teamwork, competition, contention, opposition, hostility, adversity and adversaries, deceit, treachery, balance/imbalance, war/peace. Another factor to be considered are 2016's two Challenges – the 4 and 5. When 16 is subtracted from 20, the result is 4. When the 2 is subtracted from 16, the result is 14-5. These two single ciphers – the 4 and 5 – are diametrically opposed and create tension between regularity (4) and irregularity (5); between tradition (4) and non-tradition (5); between earth (4) and fire (5); between constancy (4) and change (5); between limitation (4) and freedom (5). Thus, an inherent tug-o-war exists when the 4 and 5 are in juxtaposition, as they are in 2016. The condensed analysis of 2016 is that it will be a year of extreme testing for everyone and every country in the world. The focus will be on relationships (2), which is the specific theme for this 2nd Millennium; on the purification aspects of the 16-7, and the oppositional clashing of the 4 vs. 5 conjunction. And by the way, there are still 984 years to go in this thousand year period of the 2 energy. As of 2016, we've only traversed 1.5% of the 2nd Millennium's highway. In other words, we're just getting started, so there is a long way to go. Hence, the quote at the top of this article . . . in which we must all learn to be brave. If mankind were more spiritually evolved, this thousand years, inclusive of 2016, would be a more balanced, harmonious and peaceful era. However, because of mankind's saturation with ego, anger, greed, attachment and lust - what Saints refer to as the five hindrances/passions - the outlook for a pleasant journey forward is not good, frankly. Since we cannot stop the 16-7 energies from their transitory duties, we can only manage ourselves within its time frame – individually and collectively. Here are some managerial focus points.
