Fire Fighter Hero

Hero is an oft used word
upon whom glory is conferred,
but no light glows forever brighter
than the brilliance of the fire fighter.
Sacrifice, selflessness, courage, duty
illustrate the uncontested beauty
of men and women - the noble spires
who grace the title, "fire fighters."
Conflagration, devastation,
their lives at risk for other's lives.
Where in this world is there one mightier
than he or she called "fire fighter?"
What words or deeds can 'er convey
the deeds they do both night and day?
Certainly no word could be more righter
than that of "Hero" for the fire fighter!
